If you look straight ahead, you will notice that your field of vision is much wider than it is tall - this is estimated to be a 7:2 aspect ratio. Therefore viewing widescreen 16:9 images compared to standard 4:3 is very easy on the eye.

We can prepare PowerPoint for 16:9 in one of two ways:_________ Letterbox - This is setup & edited in-pro as a widescreen canvas. When projected, it will appear with black strips top & bottom...

Anamorphic - This appears stretched vertically for editing, we adjust the BGs & content accordingly, and create width-adjusted fonts. When projected, the display device corrects the image vertically to give true widescreen.

It is imperative that the same choice of technique is used to produce the videos that will accompany the graphics at the event
